For Sale at Craft of Folk

A clutch of lovely necklaces, with convenient and beautiful front focal clasps, all chock full of semi-precious stones! They are heavy and important feeling. lol! From left to right, tiger's eye, mixed agates with aventurine charms, fiery carnelian with carnelian charms. The bracelet is stretchy and made of jade and aventurine with 3 tiny silver leaves dangling in the breeze. Very Green Goddess! Very comfy!

These necklaces may appeal to you on several levels: the rich colours, the varied textures, the 'good vibes' from certain stones, the weight of the stones themselves. It's very hard not to reach out and touch these when you see them for the first time. Yummy! I think that they would look equally hip in formal or casual contexts. Matching earrings coming soon! Thank you for buying them here!

I've posted the meaning of stones and more interesting lore on my other site, Winged Heart Studio.

Craft of Folk

A cool new shop has opened on Water Street in Downtown Peterborough! It is owned by Chad and Sue and they call it Craft of Folk. It is a small, but beautiful art gallery, selling handmade stuff. Chad is an extraordinary wood carver and Sue's gorgeous pyrography is displayed throughout the store. A wood carver and a wood burner!

I'm excited to be selling my stuff there, jewellery, cards, gem trees, shrines...I'll keep you informed. I really only make one kind of jewellery...using very specific stones and colours in very specific combinations to achieve very specific results...usually happiness or a sense of being more connected to Nature. Blue Bird of Happiness Nests, Chakra bracelets and prayer beads, for example. The gallery is the kind of place where everything has a special purpose, too!
Hope you take a moment to visit! It's right beside Books n Things!
