Peterborough in Portrait

Peterborough in Portrait'via Blog this'
Peterborough in Portrait: Our Inclusive Community art exhibition June 15 - June 22 at the Canadian Canoe Museum (910 Monaghan Road).

The exhibition, sponsored by Community Living, will feature portraits of people living in the City or County of Peterborough submitted by artists - professional, emerging and student - also living in the City or County of Peterborough.

So excited to be taking part in this! Two perfect photos popped into my head when I heard about this. To be able to study for 8 weeks with local artists, Anne Cavanaugh and Tia Saley, is such an amazing opportunity! And it's free, all supplies included! And it's Spring!

Have you signed up to be part of this?

  1. This sounds totally awesome! Wish I lived closer so I could come play! It's super neat that you get to be involved in something awesome like this...we don't have a lot of...artistic encouragement...in the area I live in, so I am super jealous! Have fun for me so I can live vicariously through you!

  2. It has been a great experience so far, except I was sick the day that the local TV station came in to film the portraitists! I love the limelight lol. But my two teachers are really fun and good at what they do! Very experienced in teaching novices!
