While I was waiting for Lisa to post the Make It Mondays theme, I was possessed by an urge to follow the Spirelli instructions on her site! I already had some gorgeous metallic Gutermann threads, (scooped at St. Vinnie's) and ink in the printer for patterns, so before you could say something long, I had a bunch! I must say that it is very satisfying in a mandala making satisfying way. I want to make jewellery out of them somehow or, at the very least, put them on cards. I like them! P.S. Gutermann threads are quite pricey (Unless you get a bag at St. Vinnie's). Do use embroidery thread! It's cheap (I got some at Fabricland at 3 for.97). It looks great! Oh, and then I got Eddy to use the 50% off coupon to get me a scalloped square Marvy Uchida Punch! It's awesome, but you do have to deepen the scallops with a snip of the scissors, to give the thread more to hang on to. Go the punch idea from Lisa as well! All Michaels had was square but it's very versatile. And half price. Nice!
